One of the most brilliant movies I've ever seen is a 2006 movie release entitled 'Inside Man', starring Denzel Washington and Clive Owen. It is a fascinating, riveting action film. Perhaps you've seen it too. The storyline centers on a bank robbery apparently gone bad but no one dies and no money is stolen. No crime is committed, the chief architect of the heist becomes the hero, and the bank president is exposed. 'Nough said!;-)

Scripture here points to another Inside Man, the Spirit of God. He's the best and most brilliant. Like Joseph in this story, when He gets to the interior of a man's life, He makes all the difference in the world. He becomes virtually indestructible, unbreakable, resilient and ultra-wise. And others will find a special spirit that sets that man apart too. Reconciliation and redemption play out powerfully in and through men like this and our lives will become like the best of movies.

Athlete, let the Spirit in. Let Him rule and reign, coach and teach, take control and set definitions daily. As you do, don't be surprised to find a watching world taking note and benefiting too.
