Doesn't it feel great when things go according to plan! Whether it's a game plan, film shoot, wedding ceremony, recording session, teaching assignment, speech delivery, travel schedule, job interview or business presentation, we all love to see things turn out right, just the way it was scripted.
When it comes to our whole lives and not just an event, God says He's got a plan. In His plan EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT, conforming fully to His will and purpose. Would you take rest in this?
Though we may sometimes feel like our lives are stalled, stuck or spinning out of control, though events aren't turning out as well as we may have drawn them up, God says He's working His plan out, His purpose will prevail, and things will go according to it. It's happening even now. Everything goes according to plan with Him.
One more thing. Let's note the purpose of the plan. God's ultimate purpose is that we might be "for the praise of His glory." To make Him famous, exalted and worshiped is the goal. Jesus did. Our alignment is to match His. If you're searching for purpose, here it is!
